Nancy O'Dell started her career in the broadcast industry as reporter for WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later, she was morning news anchor at WCBD TV and acted as an investigative reporter. O'Dell's reporting on the lax responses of police officers to DUI instances in Charleston caused an investigation conducted by the State Law Enforcement Division, that led to a revised policy from state officials regarding DUI cases. Ms. O'Dell was awarded the Best Report of the Media Award in South Carolina by the Associated Press. O'Dell, after her stint in Charleston working as a journalist and co-anchor at NBC's Miami WTVJ-TV station, before transferring to Access Hollywood where she is now a correspondent and co-anchor on weekends. O'Dell's current role as a host on Access Hollywood is complemented by her work on NBC News Today, Dateline NBC and NBC News. She's covered the events such as The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards in addition to hosting the Pre ShowArrivals Programs during The Emmys.
